Suresh Hirani beat 127 golfers on Saturday to emerge as the triumphant winner during the Honourable Treasurer (Yobesh Oyaro) Mini Masters golf tournament played at the Par 71 Nyali Golf and Country Club.
Playing off handicap 21, Hirani’s precision and consistency on every stroke secured him the top position, earning him the honour of being crowned the champion with an impressive 42 Stable Ford points.
Hot on his heels was Shah Saj, whose determined play earned him the runner-up spot. With a handicap of 18, Saj finished with 39 points, matching the score of Dahir Awdeer.
The battle for the second position was intense, but Saj clinched the runner-up title after a count-back, leaving Awdeer to settle for the third position.
William Kaguta continued to showcase his prowess claiming the title of Best Gross. With a remarkable handicap of 2, he completed the course with a stellar gross score of five over par 76.
Rossette Abdallah emerged as the Best High Handicapper, displaying incredible talent with a handicap of 40 and securing an impressive 40 points.
The battle for supremacy extended beyond the overall standings, with A.J. Molu dominating the first nine holes with 22 points and earning the title of Best First Nine.
On the back nine, Sam Muraya showcased his skill with 23 points, claiming the title of Best Second Nine.
