The US Kids NCBA Nairobi Fall Local Tour concluded with a flourish at Sigona Golf Club, bringing together 155 young golfers aged 6 to 18.
Sponsored by NCBA Bank, the event aimed to nurture budding talent and provide a platform for the next generation of golfers.
In the girls’ divisions, Njeri Waweru, Vhiliper Perpetua, and Ranish Hilder took the top three spots in the 15 – 18-year-old category, showcasing scores of 116, 121, and 122 strokes, respectively.
In the 13 – 14-year-old category, Amelia Sheikh stood out with an impressive score of 90, followed closely by Yolanda Yu and Marya Nyambura Nguitigu.
The boys’ divisions saw Jabari Ongwae dominating the 15 – 18-year-old category with a commanding victory, scoring 97 strokes.
Yuvraj Rajput displayed exceptional skill in the 13 – 14-year-old category, finishing at the top with a commendable score of 77.
Young golfers aged 11 – 12 also made their mark, with Kanana Muthomi leading with a stellar performance, scoring 76 strokes.
Ishaan Patel and Paren Reel emerged as promising talents in the 10-year-old and 9-year-old categories, finishing with scores of 41 and 42 strokes, respectively, playing 9 holes.
NCBA Deputy Director and Group Head of Brands – Marketing Jacquie Muhati expressed pride in sponsoring events that foster talent and instill discipline from a young age.
