Margaret Njoki of the Golf Park Golf Club of Nairobi on Sunday beat 81 other lady golfers to be crowned winner of the Eldoret Ladies Open.
Njoki, who had a single birdie on the ninth hole, carded an outstanding score of over 10 par 81.
She emerged the undisputed champion, etching her name in the annals of Eldoret Ladies Open history.
Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) leadership congratulated Njoki for her exemplary performance.
Despite having two birdies on the eighth and thirteenth hole, Rachel Ndei of Vetlab Golf Club trailed closely behind, finishing in second place with a commendable score of +11, just one stroke behind Njoki.
Sylvia Chelagat and Esther Chumo, both representing Eldoret, shared the third position with scores of +12, highlighting the depth of talent present in the competition.
Gracemary Karira of Eldoret secured the fifth position with a score of +13, closely followed by Faith Mburu, Frankie Gichuru, Irene Brooker, and Phyllis Kisuna, who all finished with scores of +15.
Each golfer showcased their prowess, making every stroke count in their quest for victory.
