Kenya Airforce Club to Host 9th NCBA Golf Series

The Kenya Airforce Golf Club in Eastleigh, Nairobi, will host the ninth edition of the 2024 NCBA Golf Series on Saturday, July 27th.

This will be the first time the series will be held at the Airforce’s 9-hole course.

Over 100 golfers are expected to participate in the tournament.

They will be vying for coveted spots at the series Grand Finale later this year.

The slots will be awarded to the winners of the Division 1 (Men & Ladies), Division 2 (Men & Ladies), the overall Division 3 victor, and the standout performer in the Junior category.

Speaking ahead of the event, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said they are excited to introduce Kenya Airforce Golf Club course to the series for the first time.

“We are honored to host the NCBA Golf Series at the Kenya Airforce Golf Club, bringing us closer to the grand finale. We are hoping to witness exceptional talent, similar to what we have seen in previous tournaments,” said Gachora.

He said the tournament aligns perfectly with NCBA’s commitment to supporting the sport of golf at all levels.

“By bringing the Series to new venues like the Kenya Airforce Golf Club, we can expose a wider audience to the sport and contribute to the growth of Kenya’s golfing community,” he said.

The Kenya Airforce leg follows the successful eighth edition held last Saturday at the Windsor Golf Club.

The Kenya Air Force Golf Club, located at the Moi Airbase in Eastleigh, Nairobi, boasts a rich history dating back to its inauguration in 2002.

Featuring an exquisite modern course and facilities, the club was initially developed as an exclusive facility for military personnel to unwind and hone their golfing skills.

Recognizing the wider community’s passion for the sport, the course was later opened to the public, becoming a popular destination for golfers of all levels.
