Young golfers Adam Nesbitt, Chloe Chiuru, Armelle Amani, and Amar Shah continued their dominance in the ongoing NCBA Junior Golf Foundation US Kids Spring Tour.

On Sunday, during the fourth leg of the tour at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club, the junior golfers maintained their winning streak.

The US Kids Spring Tour teed off at Vet Lab Sports Club on February 16, before moving to Limuru Country Club on March 2, Karen Country Club on March 15, and Windsor on March 23.

At Windsor, Nesbitt emerged as the overall winner in the boys’ 12-year category after carding 76.

He edged out his closest challenger, Shuhan Peng, who scored 79, while Palash Tank finished third with 83.

Nesbitt has now won three of the events he has participated in this season—Limuru, Karen, and Windsor—propelling him to the top of the leaderboard in the boys’ 12-year category with 90 points from three events.

Shuhan Peng, who has competed in all four events, sits in second place with 80 points, while Palash Tank follows in third with 62 points from four events.

In the girls’ 11-12 years category, Chloe Chiuru delivered an outstanding performance, carding 73 to finish ahead of Aria Dhodia (81), Ziana Khoda (82), Ashley Muyela (83), and Ashley Gachora (85).

“My first nine was the best; I was making some putts, though I struggled with my alignments and got a couple of bogeys. But my goal is to win most, if not all, of the tournaments,” said Chiuru.

With her victory at Windsor, Chiuru extended her overall lead in the standings to 99 points, a commanding 49 points ahead of second-placed Siqian Yu (50 points).

Chiuru has now won three events—Vet Lab Sports Club, Limuru Country Club, and Windsor—since the tour began. Her only setback was at Karen Country Club, where she finished fifth.

Shah now leads the standings with 100 points from four events, having won at Limuru and Windsor.

He finished second at Vet Lab and Karen.

In the girls’ 13-14 years category, Armelle Amani carded 92, finishing ahead of Biaca Dave (98) and Lael Mwangale (100).

Following her victory at Windsor, Armelle now leads the standings with 69 points from four events, closely followed by Randy Turi with 68.5 points.

Amani Muriithi sits third with 67.5, while Lael Mwangale is fourth with 53 points.

“I have come a long way and improved significantly. Compared to 2022, I wasn’t the best golfer, but I had determination and worked hard to get where I am today. So, I’m proud of myself,” said Mwangale.

The fifth leg of the series heads to Sigona Golf Club on March 30.
