After a brief hiatus due to inclement weather affecting various golf courses across the country, the 2024 NCBA Golf Series is set to make a return this weekend.

The series faced disruptions with the postponement of tournaments at Thika Sports Club (May 4) and Moi Airbase Eastleigh (May 11) due to adverse weather conditions.

This weekend, Muthaiga Golf Club, affectionately known as the ‘Home of Golf,’ will host the sixth leg of the NCBA Golf Series.

Over 200 golfers are expected to compete at the Par 71 Muthaiga championship golf course.

Muthaiga Club Captain, Bo Ciera, expressed his delight in hosting the NCBA Golf Series again.

“NCBA has been a key partner of the club for a long time, and we are thrilled to be part of the series once more,” he said.

He also highlighted the excellent condition of the Muthaiga golf course.

“The course is ready to challenge and inspire golfers of all levels. I am confident that this tournament will be a memorable one.”

Golfers will compete for coveted slots in the grand finale of the series in November.

NCBA Group Managing Director, John Gachora, shared his excitement about returning to Muthaiga Golf Club for the next leg of the series.

“This tournament not only showcases the best of Kenyan golf but also embodies our commitment to supporting the growth and development of the sport in our community. I look forward to a weekend filled with memorable moments on the course,” said Gachora.

The tournament will provide an opportunity for six standout performers to secure their slots at the NCBA Golf Series 2024 Grand Finale.

These slots will be awarded to the Division 1 male and female winners, the Division 2 male and female winners, the overall winner of Division 3, and the top performer in the junior category.
